HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB

Here were have a very interesting set of figures, i must start by saying these were not produced by Corinthian, however the similarity in terms of sculpting and material quality allows them to sit in perfectly along side Corinthian figures.

This is a set of 8 Jockeys from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, i am not entirely sure which company manufactured them but the work and detailing is excellent and they have a real weight about them, feeling almost more resin than plastic.

 

 

Each figure was released inside a jersey coloured window box, each figure has the name in Cantonese on the front of the base and then in English on the back.

 

 

The figures came issued with a collector card, one side has an image of the jockey on their horse and the reverse is a jockey profile bio and some details.

 

 

A superb set of figures and certainly worth going out of your way to acquire them, usually seen for sale in Asia, predominantly in Hong Kong of course but can also be found in Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia.
