EPOCH - TOP HEROES

Corinthian continued their creative partnership with Japanese company EPOCH, who they collaborated with when producing the Japan national figures and also the NJPW wrestlers, to release a series of Japanese Professional Baseball figures.

The range was called TOP HEROES, with the figures being on oval bases, however no collector cards or collectors information leaflet was produced. All figures were assigned a collector code which started with EPB (Epoch Professional Baseball) 

 

 

To the absolute best of my knowledge there are 8 different figures released in the Top Heroes range. It is worth mentioning that Hideki Matsui is the exact same figure as released in the Professional Baseball series, however he is on a Brown base on a Top Heroes backing card, with his code still being EPB005

 

 

EPB008 is Ichiro Suzuki who is done on Green and Brown base, with EPB015 Daisuki Matsuzaka also being done on Green and Brown base, this is a different figure to EPB011 which was on the Professional Baseball series.

 

 

Given how the EPB collector codes run from EPB001- 021 it is easy to get confused as to who was released in which series as there is some cross over of codes between the series.
